Rendez-vous Bundesplatz
Parliament - Bern (CH)
‘Rendezvous Bundesplatz’ is a spectacular light and sound show that takes place every year in front of the Bundeshaus in Bern, Switzerland. The event features impressive projections that illuminate the façade of the Parliament Building and tell a different story each year with animations, music and lively narratives.
The event, which was created in 2011 by Brigitte Roux of Starlight Events, has been organised under the artistic direction of Lumine Projections since 2019. The Lumine production team has already realised several 3D mapping projections on the Parliament building.
Voyage
Rendez-vous Bundesplatz 2025
This year's Rendez-vous Bundesplatz invited visitors on an adventurous journey around the world to experience the fascination of our planet's cultural diversity. The journey took the audience by land, sea and air to some of the world's most famous landmarks and cultural monuments. It led to mysterious places and the vibrant metropoles of distant countries. This journey was accompanied by a musical diversity from different cultures and eras of our time. For the first time, some sequences of the spectacle were accompanied by live music and singing – arranged by the Swiss musicians' collective ‘Take This’. The production was once again realised with the support of Dirk Pfeifer and Haselbusch.

Planet Hope
Rendez-vous Bundesplatz 2020 & 2021
In 2020 and 2021, a spectacular audio-visual show was produced by Lumine Projections for the Bundeshaus in Bern. A ship called “Planet Hope” took the audience on an adventurous mission to save the earth.
The “Planet Hope” set sail on the Swiss parliament building and accompanied the audience from the rainforest to the Arctic, through all the chapters of the show. These ranged from the innovations of sustainable energy generation, to the consequences of global warming, to maintaining world peace through international understanding and cultural exchange. Until the happy return to the home port, the music accompanying the mission also made the show an acoustic experience. The animations were realised with the support of Patrick Kong, Dirk Pfeifer and Haselbusch.
Due to the pandemic, the show was cancelled prematurely in autumn 2020. Planet Hope was shown in an extended version on the Bundeshaus Bern in 2021.

First Step
Rendez-vous Bundesplatz 2019
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first manned moon landing, a 3D mapping show onto the parliament building in Bern was created. The effective presentation entitled “First Step” not only dealt with the first steps on the moon, but also put this unique event in a new light. The saying made by astronaut Bill Anders: “We flew there to discover the moon. But what we really discovered is the earth. ” became the leitmotif.
Rendez-vous Bundesplatz was attended by 552 400 spectators. The projection was realised in artistic collaboration with Patrick Kong, Dirk Pfeifer and Haselbusch.
